Musicians.
I have been fortunate enough to work with {if even for the shortest while} some amazingly talented musicians.
Ben Klein was certainly the best flute player in Seattle while I was there.
Tony Carfora could easily hold his own in any club in New York City {12 million people including internationally known players}. But has probably by now advanced to the next level by now.
A.K. Caroll from Romania who I met in London on keyboards could cut, copy and paste together a ten layer classical composition in about ten minutes.
All three of these people you would think might be internationally recognized by now.
I prefer working with people who are better, it inspires. But I did not myself go to school, although of course, I've done home training for both guitar and vocals, and a few personal lessons as well.
Although I would very much like to have this sort of greatness from a drummer, I no longer think that this is what is required from the other musicians.
Vocals after all are what's most important.
It has been important for me to see a good representation of the songs recorded on "Fictitious Optimism" and what is to be called "Besides the Optimism"
I thought that were good songs when compared to what many in a jam situation might spew fourth into the void.
And I still hope to see future releases of this work.
I will be refining my lyrics, vocals and music even more in the future.
